DEVELOPING LEG STRENGTH
One way catchers of all ages can develop leg strength for catching in the
offseason is done while watching TV. When the first commercial comes on, set
up in a signal stance. The next commercial set up in a stance with no one
on, and finally on the next commercial, set up with a man on. Hold each stance
until the commercial is done. If you watch a lot of TV, you will have the
legs to catch come spring.
