STRIPED BALL:

To help catchers with their grips and rotation, use a striped ball when throwing. Take black electrical tape and wrap it around the FOUR seams of the baseball. You now will get instant feedback on your throws during throwing drills. Proper rotation, you will see a straight line. You can also set your finger positon properly with the tape as a guide. Your first and middle finger should set just on the outside of the tape. Fingers spread to far can create drag on the ball. The thumb should rest directly under the ball on the black tape.
